Affiliate links

The “Where to buy” and “While you're at it” links on fitment pages take you to retailers such as Halfords and Amazon.co.uk. They are affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly.

Those sections are headed “Ad” and carry a one-line disclosure above the links so it is clear before you click. Every affiliate link also carries the rel="sponsored" attribute for search engines.

As an Amazon Associate, FitsMyCar earns from qualifying purchases.

What the links do not affect

• Which bulb, blade, oil or kit we say fits. Fitments come from the sources shown, under the rules on How we check.
• Whether a value is marked verified, likely or unconfirmed.
• Whether an engine oil gets a buy button at all — unconfirmed engines never do.
• Which retailers appear. We link to the ones a UK reader is likely to use; nobody pays to be listed.

Prices, ratings and stock

We do not show retailer prices, availability or star ratings on fitment pages. Where a link says “check price” that is literally what you will do on the retailer's site.

Display advertising

There is no display advertising on the site at present. If that changes, ad slots will be fixed-size, placed after the answer and never between the heading and the fitment table, and this page and the privacy page will be updated first.
